A serious data breach at Quest Diagnostics that led to hackers accessing 34,000 people's health records was the faut of an unsecured mobile app, the company said in a statement. San Francisco-based Lab Sensor Solutions has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Launchpad Digital Health. The funding is less than $1 million, the company told MobiHealthNews.

HealthTap and Quest Diagnostics are partnering to add lab tests to HealthTap's video visits. Doctors on HealthTap's platform will be able to order diagnostic tests for their patients, who can then make an appointment with the nearest Quest lab to have the tests done.
