Maven, a virtual clinic for women’s and family health, has announced the four physicians who will make up its Scientific Advisory Board: Dr. Mary E. D’Alton, Dr. Brian Levine, Dr. Laura Riley and Dr. Neel Shah.
The board will work with the Maven leadership team to grow and improve the platform’s clinical programming across fertility, maternity, and parenting and pediatrics.

This morning Palo Alto, California-based startup Medable announced a $25 million funding round for its platform that uses digital to help facilitate the clinical trial process. GSR Ventures led the round with participation from PPD Inc. As part of this deal Dr. Sunny Kumar, a partner at GSR Ventures, joined the Medable board.
