Real-time location system (RTLS) provider Awarepoint announced this week a $27 million sixth round of funding. ZocDoc, makers of an appointment-scheduling mobile app, announced this week a $50 million Series C investment from DST Global, bringing total investment in ZocDoc to $70 million. The company plans to use the funding to expand into new markets and grow its patient and doctor user base.
