Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Gear smartwatch will launch with 70 native apps -- 12 of which were officially revealed by the company on launch. Redwood City, California-based startup Striiv, makers of a dedicated portable fitness device of the same name, has launched its first iPhone app, Striiv Smart Pedometer.
